Has anyone ever been to Faliraki in Rhodes before?

going there with my cousin in just under two weeks time for a week yipee! just wondering if anyone has been there and what it's like and any places and things we can do while there ?

If you want my opinion, try to stay away from Faliraki as much as possible. Try to avoid the b***s or bl**job contests on the beach (it is true!!), try to stay away from restaurants serving tourists only, try to avoid the hordes of the drunkurds in the night (unless your idea about vacations in Greece is to spend your nights on an Irish pub - but then, you d better go to Ireland, not Greece!!). Find places where Greeks prefer to go, try some original Greek food (not that mass-production stuff served in most places there), visit Lindos, spend a night in the old town of Rhodos in a bar where Greek people go, visit the monuments, visit the Valley of the Butterflies. Rhodos is a fantastic place but stay away from the mob - you re not gonna regret it!

I got married in Rhodes in 2005 and went back in 2006 for our first anniversary and we went into Faliraki both times, I love it there and really miss it.

Your rep will tell you about all the excursions available to you, you can go to Lindos for the day which is lovely or just laze around all day and party all night, bar street is brilliant xx

I'm going to Rhodes in a few days, and I am going to Greece tomorrow.  I'll be visiting Faliraki.  What a quowincidince

Went to Falaraki a few years ago before the mayor over there put a stop to all the drunk yobs. The beaches are great, loads of nice restaurant bars.

Take the boat over to simi it is a lovely little island and the boat trip is brilliant. Rhodes is great to visit there is so much to do there.

What to do in Faliraki hmm let me see.  You could always get drunk and be sick in the road at the same time showing everyone your knickers .  That seems to be the 'fun' thing to do in Faliraki for the 'tourists'.
