Has anyone ever been to Gracia in Barcelona? Whats it like and can anyone reccomend good places to visit/eat?

Gracia is just a few blocks from the touristy part of downtown.  You can walk to Placa Catalunya in ten minutes, so you don't need to worry about things specific to that area.  It's got great access to the rest of the city.

I've never been there but I know Gracia is a district of Barcelona where the most people live there are Gypsy people but It's quite nice and it is not in the touristic  centre of Barcelona so you can see the real town.

There is a fantastic book shop, called Happy Books. You don't have to spend too much time, just few minutes, enough time for see it.
