Has anyone ever been to Lake Wentworth?

It's in New Hampshire and its very close to Winnepausauakkee. (I am sure I spelled that wrong). If so, is the fishing good? How do you like the lake? Is it good to boat on?

  1. G'day Dramageek,

    Thanks for your question.

I haven't been to Lake Wentworth. Lake Wentworth is located in Carroll County in eastern New Hampshire, in the town of Wolfeboro. At 3,018 acres, it is the seventh-largest lake located entirely in New Hampshire. Water from Lake Wentworth flows through the short Smith River into Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro.

I can advise through web surfing that it is a good fishing spot with yellow perch, sunfish, smallmouth bass, catfish, pickererel, white perch, bluegill and largemouth bass on offer.

Further, there are 12 tournaments scheduled to be held there between May and September during the peak season.

It is also good for small boating and waterskiing during the summer. The New Hampshire Senate voted against a speed limit of 45 mph after the House of Representatives voted for it.

I have attached my sources for further reference.

I hope that you have a great time.

    Regards
