Has anyone ever been to Sardinia?

Is it true that the beaches have pink sand? Is it expensive to travel there?

i have been there the cost of getting there isnt the issue its the hotels i didnt visit all the beches so i dont know about the color

in sardinia there thousands different beaches (also with pink sand, as the beach of Budelli Island on the north east coast, constituted by red shellfish, but it's prohibited going on it)

there are beaches of quartz crystals, granite, blue or green coulors (on the west coast along ancient volcanic regions), dazzling white, etc...

sardinia is very expensive, cost of life in the turistic areas is high

,generally, in the Costa smeralda, where come on holiday very rich people as chiefs of state (as Putin), kings, actors, etc.

it's more expensive come here in summer

it's cheaper stay in the Bed & Breakfast, or in agriturismo, or camping,

this is the most beautiful island you'll ever visit in your life. the ocean is cristal clear, the seafood marvelous,the people friendy....just don't go in august  too crowded....best in june..oh man i still love it

Yes, I was in Sardinia and I loved it very much. That's true, there are beaches with pink sand. Expensive? That's depend from where you come, what you intend to do and so on..... If you really want to go to Sardinia, tell me and I'll be glad to be helpful.

yes it's true babe. there are many kind of beaches from little rocky beaches to sandy beaches whom colours goes from a brilliant white to pink and other shade.
