Has anyone ever been to a place called cobar in NSW?

only passed through Cobar on the way to Melbourne.

mind you it WAS at 3.30am (and yes , i did take the Long Way `round)(but it was a good trip down from Townsville , North Queensland) and there was not much going on in the Place.

though it IS a True township/City in NSW.

It is bloody dry,caravan park and old mining machines on the eastern edge of town as you drive in.My son loved those machines.Also talking Parrot in Caravan Park.He is old and is a Corrella.

Nice town, doing rather nicely from holes in the ground.

It has a Greek milkbar/cafe, and a Chinese restaurant.
