Has anyone ever been to a real operating Mediterranean Spanish fishing village?

I am interested in any comments about colours, smells, atmosphere, dress of fishermen, equipment left about, like fish boxes, description of catch.

The air is fresh, crisp with a lingering odor of fish.   The sound of the seagulls in the distance is muted by the hustle and bustle of the busy bartering of the locals for the freshly caught fish.
