  1. You have to experience for you self. To be so close to America it is so completely different. From the moment that you cross the border you begin to see a different change in life style and a different sort of people. Yes there are many regions, and different cultures, but they are so amazing. Some of the sights can take your breath away. The people are so genuinely kind, and have so much more respect. Some places in Mexico still does not have electricity, or water. Mountains, waterfalls, rivers, and jungle are some things that you can explore. I have a home in San Luis potosi and I walk outside my front door and I see nothing but mountain tops for as far as I can see. Mango, avocado, guava, peaches, oranges. tangerines, papaya, lime, lemon, choyote, all different flavors of bananas are just a start of the fruit that is with in arms reach outside my front door. Roses grow wild, and what really amazes me is how textured the flowers are. You have to go to Mexico and see for yourself, and stay away from the real tourism areas where you can truly experience mexico. GOOD LUCK

  2. You will see poverty , houses with dirt floors , open air restaurants and markets , beautiful mountains , VW bugs , mules , trash , smoke filled air , parents spending time with children , trash in the streets , police carrying automatic rifles , beautiful flowers , stray dogs , pigs in the street , abandoned cars , dirty trees on the side of the road , beggars , laundry hung up to dry , smiling children , chickens roaming , brightly colored houses .

It is a 3rd world country that has a great divide between the "haves" and the "have not's". The food is wonderful but the handling practices are questionable at best. The landscape and countryside will leave you breath lest with its beauty. The country is harsh as compared to America and living is difficult for them but all in all they are just fantastic people who are proud of their heritage and country

  3. Mexico is so DIVERSE - it depends on where your going.  The typical tourist destinations like Cancun, Puerta Vallarta, Cozumel, Cabo San Lucas are really commercialized - almost everyone speaks english, they serve bottled water, the food is so so - most commercial products are a bit cheaper than here in the US.  If you were more specific I might be able to tell you more - but I am not sure where your asking about.

My favorite place in Mexico ever was the Mayan Riviera, between Cancun and Playa del Carmen.  It was tropical, lush, not so commercialized and just about as breathtaking as the carribbean.

  4. Lots of Mexicans, all speaking this ferin tongue.  No one speaks French there

  5. Yes!.

    Great Environment!

    Fun!

  6. We had to go to hermosillo, mex. once for work. Spent a week sorting parts at the (FORD) plant. the town, itself is kinda scary. But the people were very nice. We went to a bar on ladies night. Girl/Boy ratio was 5 to 1. I was in heaven. for a couple hours anyway. then we got the bill. they overcharged us 4times the amount we had drunk. one by one we left, the last one left what we thought we owed!!!

  7. Cozumel was great...Beautiful beaches and fun fun fun at Carlos & Charlies..You must go if you get to Cozumel Mexico
