Tell me about your favorite stores or resturants. I lived there for 3 years and I miss it so much! Is there anything new since May of 2005?

  1. I live in Schweinfurt, but I've only been here since October of 2005. I really like all of the H&Ms! They are my favorite stores! I want to try that sushi place in Wurzburg, as I heard it was pretty good.

  2. I am in Schweinfurt now. We just found this great restaurant called the Sultan. It is very Turkish. You sit on pillows and they have belly dancers. It's great for the whole family. They dressed up my 9 yr old daughter. It was great.

The new autobahn is open and it makes getting to wuerzburg so much easier. The Bazar starts Friday! Yeah shopping!

I missed the Christmas Market this year, I was in the states. But fruit market is here this week. I love being able to go down town and get fresh fruits and veggies.

We just got like 5 inches of snow a couple of days ago. They say it's the most snow we've gotten since the 30's! Can you believe it. And it's suppost to snow everyday till Sat. But this is Germany after all so you know that could change in the next hour or so.

So I hope I told you something new and took you along memory lane for a while.

  3. I just came from Bad Kissingen the other day and got caught in a blizzard on the way from there towards Fulda on the A7.. OMG you should have seen it!!! I was driving behind a plow for a while and then got tired of it :-)

It has changed a bit, did you ever go to the KissSalis-Therme??? Oh yeah, what a great waterpark/spa!!!

My favorite restaurant would be down in the walking district but I forgot the name.. lol.. I only travel there once a year.. it´s one of the old bavarian restaurants where you can get homemade Leberknödelsuppe, drink a freshly drafted beer and alot of locals go there. Last time I had my youngest kids with me who sort of brought alot of life into the otherwise quite lunch-hour at the restaurant but all the people there thought they were great so they went from table to table, sitting here and there, drawing pictures with some of the "Lederhosen" type of people.. lol.. it was great! And I ate this pork-dish called Krustenbraten with red cabbage, homemade Knödel and this sauce.. OMG.. my mouth is watering! lol..

Well, I understand you miss it, I love going there even though it´s really great where we live as well :-)

    Make sure you visit again!
