Has anyone ever been to or on a vacation to seattle?

I live about a 20 minute drive away from Seattle, it's a great place. There are so many things to do, and places to go! If you're into art, the Seattle art museum is great. The Seattle aquarium is fun for all ages, and of course the Pike place market is fun to wander around, there are great shops through out it. Locals even go there alot, it's not only a tourist thing.And yes,the space needle, and the seattle center (located under/around the needle) is fun, great rides and games. Of course these are just a few of the 'tourist' type places, there's much more to it than that! There are wonderful clubs, shops (great thrift stores!!! so fun) and places to eat all over and if you go off the beaten path you're sure to find something cheap and fun to do =) And if you are in the area where one of the d**k's drive in's are....you HAVE to grab a bite!!! It's the best place to eat ever. So cheap,yummy and fun too!!! Have fun when you get here!

We went, it rained all the time and we visited Pike's and all the places shown in Eddie Bauer ads...the islands and wonderful seafood restaurants. Then we drove down the coast into Oregon, visiting Keiko before he left the aquarium, the really huge bookstore that takes up an entire block, Powell's, Tillamook cheese factory, had dinner at European ethnic restaurants and then stayed at a hidden resort on the coast. My husband got sick because of the rain so it really wasn't a good trip.

yes. actually i live in Vancouver, WA.

I have been to Seattle many many times before.

there are lots of sites to see such as the space needle, the science museum, game works, the malls, hopefully still the monorails [they might be shut down :'(

Yes i have. I live in eastern W.A. Some great places there are, Pacific science center, Space needle, pike place market, and this little carnivel behind the space needle. also, there is a resteraunt in the space needle at the very top. it has great food, but its very expensive.
