Has anyone ever been to this country before?

Greece. What's it like is it nice? Do some people also speak english? The reason i'm asking is because I would love to one day visit greece.

From NY to Athens  you can travel with DELTA Airlines and Olynpic Airlines directly. It takes approx 9 hours.

Greece is a beautiful country, very safe, lovely sea, great food, nice people. Once you come here you will fall in love with this country.

About fires, unfortunately long periods of drought, hot summers, lack of land for building hotels and houses ( see what happened in California some months ago), careless people have as a result catastrophes in Greece and in other Mediterranean countries. Some people say it's part of the Global warming effects but l would say that our way of life simply makes worse our environment

Yes we do speak English.

Well, I haven't been there, but my teachers and friends have, and they said it was a blast! I'm guessing  the plane flight would take about ten hours not including airport time. And I'm sure some people speak English there.
