Has anyone ever been to turkey with kids?

we are thinking of going to turkey next year with 5 kids aged 8 downwards is it ok for kids and is there lots to do?

Turkey is superb for kids, they love all children, it can be hot depends what month you go and what resort.Theres plenty to do, have a great time

My kids go to turkey every summer and they love it there. There are many places and activities for children of all ages. My kids stay in Istanbul and make frequent trips with my wife to the Prince's Islands in the Marmara Sea.

Hi i know I'm not a little kid but I'm 13. I went to turkey last year and depending on what part you go to and your resort there can be fun things for your kids to do such as trips on boats and to mosques and traditional markets. I enjoyed my holiday apart from one thing. I had to stay in hospital!! I got food poisoning and heat stroke! It ruined my holiday and i missed loads of school (cause our holiday was near the end of august and i didn't recover too well) there was quite a few young children in the place i went to, so if you decide to go just make sure your kids aren't out in the height of sun too much cause it is REALLY HOT!! In the hospital i went to there were some other British people so i wasn't the only one. Overall turkey is a nice place to visit if you don't get ill and i would recommend it! : D

I'm from Turkey and i use to live there couple of years ago.

Now im 14, it is so beatufil there! Go there over the summer, and drink tea outside i nice restaurant and , It's just amazing. Go to Ankara, The Dead sea, it's so nice, you see big turtles no waves colorful fishes swimming beneath you. and the water is crystal blue. & since there is no ocean there it is all sea. So go there! :] you'll love it. Go to vacation spots. Get some doner and turkish deserts. yum! you can also go to bodrum and stuff idk, i havent been there a while. http://www.bodrum-info.org/
