  1. I did it in July of 1999. It's a great experience and a fairly inexpensive way to see a lot of Spain. I started in St. Jean Pied de Port France and ended up in Santiago 31 days later. The only negative part of the experience is that from Leon to Santiago it becomes really crowded with people just making a short journey ( you can start and stop anywhere you choose, a lot of people just go from Sarria to Santiago ) I did meet a lot of great people from various parts of the world and would highly reccommend it. If you do it, travel light, you can always pick up the things you need along the way.

  2. its a nice destination

  3. Hi!!  Never did it but know lot of people who have done it and they say it'i one of the best things they've done.  It can take long time, depending where do you want to start.  But they say that the people you meet and the experience is unforgetable.  If i were you i'll have a go.

  4. I went to Santiago de Compestella in holy year, 1975.  It was one of the most moving adventures we have ever undertaken.

I found a short video of the Incensor at a high mass at the cathedral.
