Has anyone every thought about the fact that the countries that do NOT support the US are the same ones that support BO? Has anyone considered that maybe they support him because its whats worst for the US? I mean after all, we are the super power of the world and many countries are jealous and would love to take our place.. any thoughts?

  1. Help me out - which countries both support BO and hate the US? Can you list them for me so I know specifically what you're asking about?

  2. Oh, what a lot of baloney. Other countries do not "support Obama"...people around the world like him. Their leaders can not openly support him one way or another. Just like the warm reception that conservative French President Sarkosy gave Obama. He gave a red carpet style reception to him noting the that his people liked Obama but he must remain neutral. So what if he did not treat McCain as well. The French people don't like him. That is politics.

As far as your silly remark about people being jealous about the fact of our being a superpower. I guess that would happen to be because people like you want to support the 750-1000 US military bases in other countries and the millions of servicemen and civilian suppot staff instead of building bridges or roads. or even fixing things like the levees in New Orleans.

Do you think China is "jealous"? I think they will continue on their track to "own" us as are many of the Arab countries. They are buying our banks, real estate, running our ports etc etc etc

The other PEOPLE in the world think the US under Bush and the neo-cons has made them less secure. The stupid US and Israeli interference in Georgia is a good example. Europe will suffer because of US militarism. Russia is already squeezing Europe economically.

Get a grip. And use your spell-check.

Anyone that gives a website like FOX needs to spend more time researching facts instead of watching TV propaganda.

  3. You are right and make an excellent point.  Obama would ruin the US and US enemies know this.  The US people will have to smarten up reallly quick and realize Obama is wrong for America.  I have recently been overseas and have heard so much support for Obama - but it is misplaced support, ignorance and a lot of it is fueled by anti-American ideas, even in Europe.

McCain is not the answer though.

  5. I'll just call you swifty.

  6. many other countries supported Reagan, including Iran.

Besides the USA is hardly as powerful or super anymore.

    What's your point?

EDIT: Fox news is not a source to back up any arguement other than talking points.

  7. Great question! Thanks for asking.

This is what puzzles me the most about Obama supporters. They put down America just like Obama does. They think that it's important to have these countries that have never been allies of America to "like" us. I can't understand how they don't realize that these countries backing Obama only do so because they want to destroy America.

I agree that we are the super power of the world and that's what keeps wars from happening within our borders. What I don't understand is how Obama supporters can't see this. It simply amazes me how they rationalize their beliefs on this issue.

  8. "countries that do NOT support the US" You mean every country?

  9. Yup.  ZI have thought of that!

    McCain/Palin 2008

  10. UM....because half the world is actually SANE??????

  11. Seriously, do you hear yourself?

I KNOW you haven't been outside of the USA.  People hate Bush but not the people.  They just think we are crazy.

People out there support Obama because that's who they would choose if they lives in the USA.

But people in the USA are going for McCain.......... another example of stupidity of Americans.

  12. Your question implies that countries hate the US so much that they will do what is harmful to us, even if it is not in their best interests.  That is a powerful amount of hate, a hate that would come from more, much more, than simple jealousy.  I believe every person/country acts in their own best interests, so no, I don't believe that.

I think that Cowboy W and the arrogant and stupid neocon traitors to America have behaved so badly that many of the citizens of civilized countries are praying for their defeat.  Those countries long for America to reject war and cowboy diplomacy and regain our place as world leaders.  A safe, sane, US is in everyone's best interests.  4 more years of the worst administration in history is not.

EDIT: your comment that Obama would make it easier to defeat the US militarily is preposterous and backwards.  The existance of W for the past 8 years grew the hatred of the US.

  13. Australians aren't jealous of you and would never want to take your place we love our country to much have been pretty good allies but we saw the light and got rid of John Howard we just want your country to have the same chance.

  14. I agree with you.  And to Bush The Terrorist....if you are not American why are you all over these boards answering every question about the presidential election?  If you are not American, it is none of your business.  But thank you for the information.  Now I can inform other posters when I see your responses that you are not in any way qualified to reply.

  15. In 2001, I was in Hawaii talking to several people from Australia. They asked me how could it be that out of the millions of people we have in the US the best we could do was George W.

We have been the laughing stock of the world for two presential terms now.  We are not respected like we once were. I am a moderate who once would have voted McCain...not now. He is now a W clone.

Other countries for years looked up to us. I would imagine they want to again.

  16. Exactly right---It really struck me when the palestinian authority came out in support of him-----and then that trip to Europe? the same people who would love to see America eat dirt!  LOL---anyone should be able to see the writing on the wall.

    McCain/Palin '08 the logical choice.

  17. Yes, Obama wants to give the world America's balls on a platter. The world knows this and they love Obama for it.

  18. It's not that we support Obama specifically.

He is just the lesser of 2 evils.

  19. The opinions of foreign countries means NOTHING!

  20. Yes! You have summed it up very nicely.

  21. That is a rediculous assumption.

Maybe they support Obama because they are happy that the US is finally getting the heads out of their butts.

  22. Because Westerns are a thing of the past. In today's world, leaders need to actually think. We've already had a President with a cowboy mentality. We don't need another.

  23. That is why!! 10 out of 10 terrorist say anybody but mccain!!!They know Obama Is inexperienced!!!

  24. I see you wear your thinking cap wisely..I agree

  25. Get real they don't support Obama, the just dislike Bush.

I have been travelling and doing business internationally for 25 years and if you think that other countries actually ever liked the USA, it only reflects your age.

During the 80'd and 90's the most common thing to do when travelling in Europe ws to put a Canadian flag on your luggage so they didn't know you were American.

  26. exactly they want someone they can control..if they were scared of him they would want nothing to do with him..that should concern people..i believe in keeping your friends close and your enemies closer i just dont think you should sleep with your enemies..and thats all obama wants us to do....scary thoughts
