  1. YOu have to be staying at a Disney resort. They will send you luggage tags to be put on all your bags. When you get to Orlando you just hop the Disney bus to your resort. In about 3 hours your luggage is delivered to your room. I have done this 3 times with no problems. On the way back you check your luggage at the resort lobby (they will show your where) and hop the bus back to the airport, get on the plane and when you land your luggage will be coming off your plane.

The tags they send you have scans on them that tells Disney who you are and where you are staying. This service is wonderful and time saving.

  2. k, here's what happens.

They send you the tickets and bus boarding passes prior to your visit.  IN the package are stickers that you put on your luggage that say the hotel your staying at.

You get to the airport, and put your luggage on the plane.

you get to orlando, and then there is a special place that says:

    Disney's Magical Express.

you have to wait in a line that says your resort on it, and when A bus that's going to your resort comes, you head on.  You then show the bus driver your ticket.

When you arrive at your resort you can go strait to the parks, and when you come home... presto! Your luggage is there waiting for you!

I'd do it.  It saves tons of time, and you dont have to hail a taxi or whatever.  It's also free

you have to go through baggage claim when you get home, though.

    :)

    hope this helps!

  3. It is a great service.  Make sure when you make your reservation either with Disney or thru your travel agent you make sure they know you will need to use the Magical Express.  They will then send you a little booklet of information and your luggage tags.  Don't worry if your flight times change as long as you have a spot reserved for you, you'll be fine.  Then either affix your luggage tags to your luggage if you want Disney to take care of everything, or if you would rather pick up your own bags, don't put your tags on.  Just make sure when you get off of the plane you do go to the baggage claim and get your luggage before proceeding to the Magical Express check in desk.  When you get there you check in and the person behind the desk will assign you to a queue, and then there will be another person who groups you and ushers you out to a bus (organized by groupings of resorts).  Any carry on you have will be placed under the bus for the larger suitcase kind of luggage, or in the area overhead of the seats inside.  Once the bus is full, you leave the airport and drive to Disney.  The bus will take several stops to get everyone taken care of so it could be a while, but you do get to watch a video (provided you are on one of the 'official' ME buses not a Mears bus).  Then a couple of hours later your luggage arrives.  When you are ready to leave the night before they drop off a little letter telling you when your 'reserved' time is to go back to the airport and that you can check in your baggage and yourself for the flight.  And then hop on the bus, stop at several other resorts and then off to the airport.  Have fun.

  4. If you're flying on an airline with check-in services at your Disney resort, you'll need to pre-pay for any luggage fees associated with your return flight.  Talk to your airline about how to do this.

Also, you need to check bags several hours before your flight but no later than 1PM.

  5. It is a GREAT service!!!!  About 6 weeks prior to your trip, you are sent some yellow luggage tags with a bar code to put on your checked luggage, and a booklet with your flight information that you gave when you made the reservation.  When you arrive at MCO, don't worry about your checked luggage, just head straight for the Magical Express area at the airport.  The bus will take you to your resort, and your luggage will follow a few hours later.  When you go back to the airport, depending on the airline, they may handle your bags going back as well.  It is a great service, and eliminates the need to rent a car!!!!

  6. Yes, it is wonderful.  You do not have to wait on your checked baggage.  You go directly to their buses and then they will take you to your hotel and deliver your luggage directly to your room.  Make sure you take a carry on with your swimsuit or change of clothes in case you have to wait a couple of hours for your stuff to arrive.  We went to sightsee and by the time we got back our luggage was there.

  7. Yes.  It's great.  If you stay at one of the Disney resorts they will provide the bus service to take you to the resort and then back to airport.  All you have to do is look for a person holding a Disney Magical Express poster at the airport and they will point you in the right direction.  They usually stand by the baggage claim, so you can't miss them.  The buses are usually right outside the baggage claim area and there are many disney people to make sure everything goes smoothly and you get on the correct bus.  It beats taking a cab and if you are not renting a car it's the way to go.  They will deliver your bags to your room.

  8. It is simple... book with Disney, use the tags they send you, check your bags, get off the plane take the bus, check into the hotel, go the parks come back to your room once it is ready shazzam your bags are there!

  9. yes its quite simple.

once you get off your plane if you are on B side of the airport you must take the tram to side A. then you simply follow the signs that tell you where the taxi and bus pick up is.

you will go down an escalator then there will be a door leading to outside. don't walk out it. instead turn to you right and walk down to the end. disney's magical express check in will be on your right.

you then just wait in line and at the counter they will ask for your name and what hotel you are staying at. they will then direct you to which line to stand in.

then the magical express driver will lead the group onto the bus.

and don't go get your luggage. as long as you put your disney luggage tags on your luggage disney will pick them up no problem.

they take them to your hotel and put them in your room.

they just compare your name on the tag to which hotel you are staying at on a list that they have.

if you need any help just ask any worker in the airport.

they know where everything is. and will be happy to show you where to go.

and if you are going the correct way once you get near the escalator there will be a disney customer service desk and a representative stands near by.

if you have questions when you get to that point def ask the disney rep.

    its really an easy process.

and after getting on the bus it will take 30-60 minutes depending on what hotel you are staying at. pop century is always dropped off first and picked up last to go back to the airport.

and for on the way back to the airport. if you are flying one of the airlines that disney works with you can check in before you leave for the airport. and they will take your baggage for you so you don't have to worry about lugging it around.

the night before you leave they will leave an envelope in your room. (top secret i know LOL) and it tells you what time your need to be ready to get the bus. since you are supposed to be at the airport 2 hours ahead of time they will pick you up 3 hours ahead of your flight.

you then sit out in the front of your hotel when the time comes near to your pick up time and wait for your bus.

and only get on your bus.

its not hard to do. if you are take a 12:15 bus go out front at 12pm and then when the bus comes they will say what time bus it is. so if you get out there at 12pm and are about to get on it they will anouce this is the 12pm bus and you will know to wait for the next bus and the next bus will say this is the 12:15 bus so no difficult to know what bus to get on.

they take you to the airport and you follow the signs and do security. blah blah blah everything you did before.

    its easy.

  10. It is the best thing ever. When we booked our vacation, and we stayed at a Disney resort, we signed up for the Magical Express, IT's free. they send you a kit before you leave for vacation. There is a tag the you attach to your luggage. when you arrive at Orlando, there are Disney people all over to direct you to the Disney Magical Express desk. You just sign in, and then you are led to the bus. The bus takes you to your resort hotel. Disney picks up your luggage for you, and it is delivered to your room later that day. When its time to leave, they give you an itinerary for your departure, with a reminder of your flight info as well. I'll never visit Disney without getting this service. its wonderful

I wrote about it in my blog.

Disney explains everything in the kit..

  11. DME is a free service as long as your staying at a WDW resort.  You place a yellow tag on each of your luggages before you depart from home, this way when you arrive at the Orlando airport the disney ppl. know where to take your luggage depending on your resort/hotel.  So, when you arrive in Orlando, don't get your luggage from baggage claim, go straight to DME to get a really nice Disney bus which will take you straight to your resort/hotel.  Your luggage will arrive about 3 hrs. later.  When you leave WDW a DME disney bus will take you back to the Orlando airport.

DME is awesome, try it, and you'll save $$ since you wouldn't have to rent a car.

  12. YES!

    it is so awesome.

    the bus is really cool.

but i can't explain it to you.

    because my parents handled that.

But if you can do it, i would.

    it is so cool.

    so cool.

    :]
