Has anyone ever done/though of this?

So i'm at home thinking about how sometimes you can feel obligated to tip when the waitress/waiter was a total *****, and how sometimes instead of leaving a tip you want to write on the reciept.."here is your tip..stop being a *****!". has anyone done this or had this done to them?

Thought about it a few times but never actually did it. I completely agree that there are some people who just shouldn't be working in the customer service industry! Unfortunate!

yeah my boyfriend did when the waiter kept hitting on me and wouldnt leave me alone.

but ususaly when they suck like *** leave a penny on the table as a tip (its the biggest insult to a waiter/waitress)

one time when I was out with my girlfriends we had this total ***** of a waitress that made cracks about our clothing and financial status saying things like "pool your fives ladies, here's the bill"....so we paid and didn't leave a tip but one of my girlfriends didn't have the exact change and was a nickel over because of a toonie and MADE the waitress open the till to give her a nickel, and she didn;t have one so she had to go ask another waitressfor a nickel ha haha ha ha

Once I had really horrible service, so I made the waitress bring me like a million different things and never touched any of them. lol Then we didn't leave a tip.

if i get bad service i leave no tip, if it is really bad i ask to talk to management,, if i get good service i leave a good tip

Yeah i really hate when they do this, specially when they give bad service, ugh the nerve of them! UGH!!

honestly, i go to the local friendly all the time and sometimes i get a real ***. i don't wanna tip but feel like they will do something nasty to my food next time i ma there

If they are disrespectful they get no tip.  If they are grouchy they get 15 percent.  If they are average they get 18 percent.  If they are above average they get 20 percent.

No, I just don't tip.

I find writing crude things on the back of a receipt/napkin/etc just tacky and stooping down to the said waiter's level.
