I have. I like the Haggis with mashed potatoes. Black pudding is ok. Do you know what either is?

Haggis is the insides of a sheep like the intestines and black pudding is blood from an animal with the meat and it is actually black and round.

  2. Yes and very nice they are also.

  3. haggis uses the stomach to hold other internal organs including the lungs, with additions like barley common.  It is highly seasoned with lots of salt, pepper, and sometimes nutmeg.

Black pudding is almost 100% blood, and when it is boiled the blood goes black - you can then fry it.

  4. ive never had haggis since im not scottish, but i LOVE black pudding, or well the dutch equivalent, blood sausage.

black pudding, with fried unions, fried apple(or peaches), and bread. THE best!

  5. I went to Scotland a few years ago and did try Haggis. I tried it before I knew what it was and it was tasty. i don't think i could eat a lot, but it's not as gross as it sounds.
