  1. hi kirst

yes i have, i was treated to a birthday lunch at Winteringham Fields, when Germaine& Annie Schwarb owned it,Germaine & Annie used to come into the pub where i worked for a sun evening meal, regularly , yes it was a great meal, and you were looked after with the utmost curtasy nothing was to much for the staff there it did not matter if you were joe bloggs or rod stewart, you had 100%attention but yes it reflected on the price, but the lunchtime menu was a choice of 5 main dishes with a starter [3] and sweets[3] plus drinks and coffee about 35 pounds , the evening meal which  was entirely different and the table was yours for as long as you wanted could cost you of 150 pounds a head and more depending on what you had. i say if you have to save up for 6 months go for it it is worth the experience,Germaine & Annie have retired now and live in france, Winteringham Fields has a web site if you are interested take a look, Germaine did get 4 or was it 5 Michelin stars along with a whole load of other accolades, oh yea i used to cook their sunday night meal at the pub so i must have done something right ha ha

have a look at the web site also www, winteringham info.com there is a picture of me on one of the links, clue is the campsite

  2. yes, it was in a restuarant in High Wycombe named Woolies. It was actually above woolworths store. It was a long time ago but I do remember it was a lovley experience. Dont know about the bill though, I didn't pay :-))

  3. No I havent eaten in a Michelin starred place and I dont think I would want to.The food may be nice but it would be pricey, the portions teeny weeny. The best places I have dined have been in the most out of the way places where you wouldnt expect such great dining experiences. From little cafes in Bali to Roadhouses.

  4. It's not just the food you're paying for it's the service too, people need to remember that you've only to ask for something in these places and a waiter/waitress is there to help, you don't even have to get up to get a drink from the bar.

  5. No Kirst I couldn't afford it!!  Think the price is over inflated myself for the little bit you get on the plate!

  6. Haven't...yet! I definitely will though. Dining is a pleasure, especially when the food and the service are top notch...

One of the most expensive restaurants I've been to was so much better than anything else that it was a true experience. And definitely worth the money. Every time!

  7. No I haven't and not likely to either.

  8. Nope...and nor would I....

  9. nope never had been to that restaurant before

  10. Yes I have kirst.....My Brother has 2 Michelin Stars........however when his big sis goes to visit him at his restaurant he knows I don't eat alot of that food he cooks so he does me just a plain steak and chips - and makes me sit in a corner lol

  11. Well I've eated at some places where the food was rubbery,Kirst if that counts!

  12. Nope

  13. No:-(

Haven't got the michelin star salary to pay for it!
