Has anyone ever failed a class in college?

Question

I have a final tonight in Trigonometry and i'm afraid i don't stand a chance against it. Is it normal to fail a grade? I mean does it happen? I won't even make it into the Engineering Program.

Of course, many people have failed classes in college, some have completely failed college!

i failed a class freshman year of college.  calculus.  basically what i had to do was retake the class (which i did in the summer).  the failing grade stayed and counted for my GPA, but when i retook the class and earned above a C+, i was given credit for the course.

my first year in college, i didnt go to class and partied a lot.  i failed all but 2 classes.  it happens.  now i only have 2 semesters left till i graduate.  do your best not to fail any, because its hard to bring your GPA up after failing classes.

Yes I have failed a class in college. I was able to take it again the next semester and did a little better.

Yes, people still fail in college.  You'll take it again and overload in the following semester.

I'm German. But it is no difference to you here. In my 10th class I failed Latin and English and had to do the whole year!! again.

But after that I passed all my exams, made my ABITUR (College finish) and went to business college and done the grades.

I was working in Germany 15 years as an accountant with bloody good money. It doesn't matter if you fail when you do it better the second chance. But don't give up and put your hand in the sand, fight and you will succeed. That's what counts.

It's very normal to fail a college course, and I'm not stranger to it. If you repeat the course and earn a better grade, it will clear the F off of your GPA, but will still remain in your transcripts.

Yes for online plagiarism . I didn't fail but I did get a lower grade.

You can always go for achademic renewal if you fail.

Yes, I failed Intro to College Algebra and had to re-take the class...and failed it again. The professor passed me anyway because I had two tutors and tried my hardest.

But don't worry about failing a class. By the time I graduated college, I had a 3.5 GPA, graduated third in my major and 7th in my department, was awarded with a trip to shoot a documentary in Egypt, and was accepted to grad school on my first try.

One failure isn't going to kill you...........
