Has anyone ever felt their search of a perfect gf/bf would be easy?

I have. When I made the decision to never in my life have kids, I though it wouldn't be such a big deal and more easier to find a CF girl. But when I noticed on reality shows and at school, that the only thing girls were talking about was "babies". I noticed it was going to be hard to find a CF girl.

Has anyone else ever felt their search of that special somebody gf/bf would be easy and it would not be such a big deal finding one? If it wasn't easy, how hard was it to find someone special?

Uh, at school an on reality shows?

When you're out of school, and if you don't confuse reality with reality-shows, your search will be easier.

In the meantime, don't be in such a hurry to find a life-partner. You can have relationships without expecting every one to be forever.

It's not easy, but it's worth the effort it takes to find someone who feels the same way you do on that issue. It's too important to compromise on. I was engaged to a CF guy in my 20's (didn't get married though), and met 2 more in my early 30's (married the second one seven years ago).

In point of actual fact the vast majority of us (especially men) settle for second best rather than hold out for our ideal partner.

I suppose I never really considered it that difficult.  I don't think there is a "perfect" person, regardless of s*x.  I've been lucky enough to find an amazing and genuine person who valued and respected (and current one who also values and respects) me for who I was/am.  However, there's no way of knowing if or when I'll be on that search again. (I'm not exactly sure what CF stands for.  Google points me in the direction of cystic fibrosis, which I doubt is it, haha. Christian Fundamentalist? I don't know.)
