  1. i do know of a bull shark caught in the mississippi near St. Louis a few years ago.

    "Bull sharks have occasionally been seen in Mississippi River as far North as St. Louis[9]. Even more rare, due to cooler waters, bull sharks have made their way up the Illinois River and into Lake Michigan such as an encounter off the coast of Chicago, Illinois[10]." - wiki.

  2. lol! no maybe lizards and alligators but no way!!! :)

  3. As far as I'm concerned, I don't think so.

  4. No.:)

  5. Probably not - there would be nothing for the shark to eat all the way up there so they wouldn't migrate that far north...

  6. There are only 2 known kinds of fresh water sharks. Well one is strictly fresh water, the other is known to just swim up river from the ocean.

    The Bull Shark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bull_shark)

    Is known in africa for swiming up rivers and eating children. In africa.

    The River Sharks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_shark...

    Only 6 species that we know of because they are so rare and hard to find.

    SO There could very well be sharks in that river. hahaha!!! But honestly they won't be that big. Well unless you are very unlucky.

  7. Yes.  Bull sharks have been found up to 1,750 miles north of the gulf coast swimming in the Mississippi and Minneapolis is only 1300 miles from the coast.

    And indeed there are Bull sharks in the US... and Africa, Australia, Europe... almost everywhere.

  8. Um, I don't know about that section of the river but I know that they have (at some point in time) found Bull sharks, which are fresh/salt water sharks. It's been found as far up as Illinois and Missouri.

  9. sharks can only live in fresh water for lke 10 days i think

  10. It would be really difficult to find a sea creature in a fresh water environment im sure >_>;;
