Has anyone ever gone a year without their xbox 360 breaking and they play it a fair amount?

i have heard of there 360 breaking 3 times in a year but never not breaking at all in a year

What happen it go over heated but plenty of people that i know had no issues with there 360.

Mine is still working like a charm :)

Most new xbox360 will not get the 360 breaking part.

Yes.  I use mine for several hours a week and mine went for 2 years and 7 months before even the slightest thing went wrong.

yess mine has got the ring of death so i had to get a new one which im more happy with because it came with a month of xbox live :D my cuz has been playing his ALOT he still hasnt gotten it btw the xbox 360 elite doesnt have the ring of death problem thats 1 reason why they made it

Of course it's possible. But only happens to a lucky few. :)

Basically, your xbox will break at least once in a lifetime. Guaranteed.

Ive had it for 3 years, play around 7 hours a week. and it didnt break down a single time.

I have had my xbox 360 for a little over two years and i play nightly...have never had any problems with it. Although my nephew has had to have his fixed on 6 separate occations in the same 2 years and these two machines were bought off the same shelf at the same store so go figure. The only difference in the home itself is he is a smoker and I am not....dont know if that contributes to the life expectancy of the machine but I would assume second hand smoke wouldnt be good for it.

I have a Pro one, and it works about 14 hours a day, and it's about 14 month old, but now it started not to read discs, and i have to turn it off and on to work fine,

and by the way i know alot of people who leave there 360 for a while without using it and when they turn it back on, it shows the RROD !!

I just got mine about 2 months ago, and it's fine. My cousin's had one for 2 years and it never broke...

i play mine an average of 5-6 times a week for about 1 hr to 2 hrs each time and iva had it for over 1 year and 6 months and it still has not broken but ive gone through 3 different controllers

my 360 hasnt broken for a while now...im selling it with 12 gfames a networking adapter a 20g hd and 1month xbox live and a wireless controller...lol jk but yeah lol
