Has anyone ever gone through with this and made any money???

Recently I have gotten these "chain letters" in the mail...well it says that it isn't a chain letter...but basically it is. What it asks you to do is send $1 to the six people on the list then put your name on the bottom and take off the top person. Then you mail out the same letter to at least 200 people or more and supposedly you can make thousands of dollars. It says that this thing has been on Oprah and I think like 20/20...Anyone ever done this??? how much did your really make????

I use to get those letters all the time, yet strangely enough there was never a dollar in them. Just a letter like you described. What you do is close it back up write "froward to Postal Inspector" on it, and send it on its way.

It's sad that you would even think for a second that this was legit. Oprah or 20/20 would never give their "OK" to such a scheme.

I already own over 50000 acres and I only paid $0.15/acre for it! Try to find a deal like that on Earth!

The best part is...it's a 100% tax deductible expense! In a 60 Minutes interview, the IRS stated that all Mars purchases are tax deductible until 2010.

You don't want to miss this report becuase demand is going up, and so are the prices. Anyone who buys early gets in on the ground floor!
