Has anyone ever gotten anything good out of the bins behind harvey norman, good guys and all those places?

just wondering if its really worth it?

I got Styrofoam that would have cost me $200 out of a bin at a construction site while I was building my model railroad.

I have also found serviceable tools and such.

I used to work at a recycling place, and when they came in and dumped from the good stores there was always stuff that was salvagable. I got some great paintings, kitchen stuff, I even got a printer one time. So I would definately say its worth it. Its best if you can look the day before they go to the dump.
