Has anyone ever grabbed a Bull?

Not all bulls are mean and nasty. Some are sweet and playful. My grandparents had a bull on their farm. He had a brand DP on him, so we called him DP. He knew all the family cars and when one of the cars drove up the lane, he would rush to the fence by the barn to see the family. We would all go pet him like a dog. He loved carrots and sugar cubes. We grandkids would all ride him. He would stand still until we (6 or 7 of us) all got on, then walk around until we all fell off, then stand still till we all got back on him again. The smaller kids would hang on his horns. He was more fun than the dog was. As I think back, that was probably crazy to play with him like that. He weighed tons and could have hurt us by accident, but no one ever got hurt.
