  1. The 155 was nearly achieved by Alex Higgins , how ever he missed out by not getting the 16 blacks , the fact you get the free ball after the break without any ball being potted , is very rare in itself , in the professional game

  2. yes , you can make 155

the other player plays to break and misses and you have a free ball

you play the colour as a red and the black

    then go on to make a 147 + 8 = 155

  3. 155

  4. its not possible, thats the max

  5. its not impossible. you can get a free ball and nominate a colour as a red pot it then the black giving you 8 points then clear up with a 147 - sounds easy doesn't it?!

  6. YES,Alex higgins was the first ever player to make a 16 red ball clearance although his break was not the max 155,but i know for a fact that i read in the guinness book of records that someone(can't remember his name)made more than a 147 after clearing the table of 16 reds including a free ball.

  7. No thats the maximum break, but the maximum score is 154.

  8. Jamie Burnett got once a 148 break starting with a free ball, so he was free to combine 15 red balls and an extra colour ball as a red one.

  9. the maximum score you can make in snooker is 155. alex higgins made a 153....on the breakoff your opponant fouls and leaves a freeball, that is your extra red plus black then 15 red,15 blacks and all colours equals 155.the 147 is classed as the maximum as it is virtually impossible to get a freeball from the breakoff although not entirely imposible.

  10. The canadian kirk stevens, got the free ball and potted 9 reds after, the free ball before missing

  11. That's impossible mate !!
