I have heard of some adults actually having a third set of teeth grow. It's more common than some might think.

it's possible for a small cavity to stop progressing if you're manic about hygiene but to fill itself?  unlikely.  a missing tooth will regrow only if it's a baby tooth or you have some genetic quirk that results in more teeth than normal.  better to see the dentist IMO
