I recently purchased 2 tickets from Boston to Peru/Argentina. I want to cancel my trip and change my tickets to Indonesia. For the past 2 days Cheaptickets has given me the runaround blaming the airline (Lan Peru) and Lan Peru is blaming Cheaptickets.6 hours of phone calls later...Lan Peru says they will let me change the tickets to American but that Cheaptickets has to do it since they were the travel agent I purchased them from. Cheaptickets says that in order to change I would have to pay an additional $2000 per person because the new ticket price is $1500 more. I know for a fact this isn't true because American told me a new ticket on would only be about $200 so I feel Cheaptickets is punishing me for making them do their job.I opened a dispute with my credit card company but I want to know how successful others have been in disputes against Cheaptickets?
