Has anyone ever had a credit card dispute with Cheaptickets.com?

I recently purchased 2 tickets from Boston to Peru/Argentina. I want to cancel my trip and change my tickets to Indonesia. For the past 2 days Cheaptickets has given me the runaround blaming the airline (Lan Peru) and Lan Peru is blaming Cheaptickets.

6 hours of phone calls later...Lan Peru says they will let me change the tickets to American but that Cheaptickets has to do it since they were the travel agent I purchased them from. Cheaptickets says that in order to change I would have to pay an additional $2000 per person because the new ticket price is $1500 more. I know for a fact this isn't true because American told me a new ticket on would only be about $200 so I feel Cheaptickets is punishing me for making them do their job.

I opened a dispute with my credit card company but I want to know how successful others have been in disputes against Cheaptickets?
