I find no redeeming features in that food chain. I can get better salad and breadsticks at home and their version of what is supposed to be Italian cooking is horrible.

  1. mmm.. the cheese fondue is to die for.

  2. I used to like it, but I haven't had a good meal there in at least 10 years. I've given them more chances, but they disappoint me every time.

  3. Thank you, I was beginning to think I was from another planet. I think their food sucks. I am Italian and Ukranian, and you are right, I can make better at home than the slop they serve.

  4. It really depends on what state you are in . I have found that the Olive Garden in Texas is better than the one in North Carolina. I think that is because the different ethnic groups. in Texas you have the younger white/Caucasians,Hispanics, and black/African Americans in their kitchen most people from each of these groups can cook. I N.C.there are only white/Caucasians in there kitchen and when you don't have flavor in your kitchen the food will not be good. So if you travel try one in another city or state.

  5. yes all there meals are good i have gone there like 15 times or more and they have great food you should go out and try becuase just i like it it does not mean you will becuase i have a little sis and she hates going there she does not like but i do

  6. bread and salad are the best also the cheese fondue

  7. I had the mussels and the all you care to eat soup, salad and breadsticks.  The mussels were horribly small and you didn't get that many.  everything else was great.

  8. I take my daughter there on special days and I have never had a bad meal at olive garden.. but then I have developed taste buds and don't think McDonalds Big Macs are the best food ever.

  9. I really like their all you can eat, make your own, endless pasta bowls. I'm not much for the salad, but I do like their minestrone soup. I agree that the bread sticks are nothing special. I take a fresh whole loaf, slice it long ways & after a brief broiling, I rub fresh garlic on it & drizzle olive oil all over the top with parm cheese sprinkled on top. The Macaroni Grill is far better & in the same price range;-)

  10. This seems more like you trying to put down the resturant rather than asking a question...But, unless you're cooking is that terrible....Home cooking is supposed to be better than a resturant. It's the lack of work it takes to do it that people like.

  11. My family and i went to olive garden and had a good time then about 3 weeks later we went again and it sucked i will never go back there again....
