i took my handicap neice to the wachovia championship in charlotte n.c and rory sabitini pushed her hat out of her hand when he walked and she held it out for him to sign and then stated i dont do signatures.what a real ***

Lee Travino was not only a jerk to me but to several ladiers in the gallery.  Tom Kite even worse, slapped my hand against a tree, drawing blood (I was working for a tv network).

I attended a senior event a couple of years ago with my ten year old son. We started off on one, and followed Gary Player around the entire day. On ten, he stopped in the middle of the fairway, and walked over to where we were standing. He said hello to my son, shook his hand, and asked him about his golf game. Gary spoke some words of encouragement, told him to work hard at golf and at school, and then asked if there was something we wanted him to sign.

I am -- and will continue to be -- a Gary Player fan for life.

I've also had some good experiences -- and never a negative one -- at the three other PGA events I've attended. But I always try to remember that these guys are doing their job and earning their living.

Even the nicest guys will occasionally be a jerk.  I know when I play poorly, I turn into an a#*hole.  But I've more bad stories about Nicklaus and Trevino than anyone else.  I have also heard Norman isnt so sweet either.

Rory is high strung on himself.  Vijay is just very serious and i think thats why he is not very friendly when he's at a tournament.

I never met a pro before, but I can understand if they ignore people when getting ready to play, they are focusing on the challenge ahead, that's how become good at what they do.  But I think if you meet them at a meet and greet or party, they'd be mostly friendly.

Everyone hates Rory, but he was very polite to me.  I had a conversation with him in the days before a tournament. He has really cute small children and he seems like a good dad.

Everyone hates Rory.  He's just angry because he has a short shaft on his driver.

Imagine being a PGA player though, everyone constantly wants time and attention, unfortunately you can't always give it to everyone.
