Has anyone ever had real Ouija board experience?

Not me, but I watched first hand my father's experience.  We got it one year as a Christmas gift and treated it like a game, a joke, but things turned serious very quickly.  Stories came out of it that no one in my family had the imagination to dream up in that much detail.  Predictions were made.  My one sister was going to go with my other sister when she went back to college after Christmas break in mid-January, and the 'oracle' warned her not to go.  She stayed home.  My sister hit a patch of ice and wrecked her car, she was OK, but this was the late 1960s and her car didn't have a passenger seat belt.

My father threw the Ouija board away after that.  My advice, stay away from them.

I've played the ouija board a number of times and nothing happened.  Nothing happened when my friends played the ouija board.  

The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

Personally, I've never had an experience w/ an Ouija board but my parents used The Spirit in the Glass and to have them retell the story - it was terribly wicked.
