Has anyone ever had this XBox 360 problem?

Has anyone ever had a hardware failure on their XBox 360? What did they say caused it? My son was playing Halo live and someone threatened to do "something" to his account. Next thing we know, the screen went white and the guy said "good luck" and left the chat. Could he have done something to the system? The tech support guy said "no" but sometimes they don't know what they are talking about.

I've never heard of something like that, unless the guy had access you your account information. Have you tried turning the XBOX back on? if it doesn't work, then somethings definitely going on.

that has happend just reset your account and everything is as good as new also if you remember the guys name you can "Flag" him

If you have that guy's username than report it to Halo and they should give you a new one.

Sounds like your dealing with a hacker. just ignore him, tell your son to block him. Nothing has happened to the hardware, that would be impossible. There are a lot of weirdos on Xbox Live, but nothing to worry about! :)

hes probably giving bad feedback to his xbox it happens when hackers and cheaters mod there xbox,

xbox calls it system tampering they ban them for a couple hours or days or permanently
