Isn't it odd that after demonstrating his engine built into a dune buggy ten years ago, was found dead in his home shortly afterwards? It was thought to be such a revolutionary possibility that even the BBC's Horizon made a documentary about his work. In the documentary, he says he was offered a $1 billion to keep quiet about his invention and it's well documented that US patent offices in some cases to years to award him a patent.. stinks of fish I say.

The actual device did not work, and it was a hoax.

I read up on it before, and its what wikipedia+snopes support

  2. Sounds maybe related to the Prof Meyer whose articulate article features high in the exciting new movie that has inspired questions in at least 8 different categories on this site

My own, for readers who enjoy really meaty arguments, is still open in News: Current Events

Does so much MSC/PhD Criticism of Darwinian Evolution surprise or offend you? Why?

Kinda similar to yours here, yes?

  3. Yes, it was on main line news in UK and USA and many countries for months, he convert his VW to demonstrate it but were told (not in many words), take the money and keep quiet for the next 10 years or so...

He was kill openly - we all knew then...

Now if I ever suceed with my old project, I'll have to keep quiet about it too.

  4. Absolutely it does. I have heard of this man too and know of his work. There are many examples of people inventing amazing products that give more power to the common man. The governments of the world dress up the way they behave in medals and uniforms and money - but they are the real criminals in the world.  If you can spare an hour or so watch this:  www.zeitgeistmovie.com

    It'll amaze you.

  5. I think he was just a flim-flam man... I don't think anyone offered him a $1 billion to keep quiet about his junk invention, he just made that up... Someone may have killed him for ripping them off... I think it was all just a scam to take money from investors...
