Has anyone ever heard of a baby being born with a halo?

MY future father-in-law has told me (and my fiance) that when my fiance was born he had a halo (golden ring of light) above his head. He says that all the nurses saw it too and warned him that it meant he wouldn't live (he's now 32). I am an RN and have never heard of this. I have asked around and no one else has ever heard of this (including our obstetrician). Any ideas????

  1. I don't believe a word of it to be honest.  It's just rubbish.

  2. ummm no. why would nurses say that anyway.

  3. Interesting.  Are they really religious?  I'd ask for pictures....

**Who knows.  I believe weird phenomenoms happen.  My Grandma once took a picture of the sky and there is a figure of Jesus, clear as day, up in the sky holding out both hands.  Im not religious either, wouldnt believe it if I heard it, but in this case, there are pictures to prove it.  Maybe he was born with a halo, but is rather mean to be protected for life than be short lived.

  4. my grandma's baby sister was born with a halo. i've also heard that it can mean that person is a psychic, which she was. she told everyone in the family when she was 6 years old that she would die when she was 21 in an accident and there would be a horse involved.  she was right. two weeks after her 21st birthday she and her husband went horseback riding, her horse got spooked and bucked her off.  when she fell she hit her head on a rock in the ground and it severed her spinal chord from her brain and she died.  creepy huh.

  5. Sorry, never heard of it!

  6. i think it's a lie they meant he's so cute he's an angel blah blah blah
