Has anyone ever heard of a ghost bowling team?

we have an uneven number of teams in our bowling league this year so every team will have to take turns playing a ghost team. has any one ever heard of this before. how many points does each player on a ghost team get

Usually a ghost bowling team will be one where the minimum of bowler's scores (doubles, trios, quads of five's) will have every score showing the set average for females and males, especially in the case it is a mixed league.  The goal is to beat the team score every game, so that you have to earn the wins or points instead of just getting an easy three or four points by having no bodies to bowl against.

It makes the league totally fair because other teams may complain if unopposed bowling occurs and specific teams get the wins handed to them.
