Yes, and police officers, deputy sheriffs, etc...The male:female ratios may be greater and they have to hold their own and put up with a lot of $#!+, but I know a couple.

They're usually smater than the guys too! :D

YES, however the test for women is easier then the test for men.  Example:  say the male version of the test requires you to do something in 4 minutes, on the womens version of the test they will be required to do it in 5 minutes.  

Im all for equal oppertunity but make sure thats what it is EQUAL.  If im in a fire id rather the guy that didnt make it and did the test in 4 minutes 10 seconods then the women who did it in 5 minutes.  Just my Opinion though

Yes here in the USA there are many women fire fighters. If they meet the physical and education requirements they can be a fire fighter almost any where here.

Yes. I used to babysit for a female fire fighter. Our fire squad was completely volunteer though since we are a small town. But I would imagine that if you could cut it you can do it.
