  1. yea once...in this phony infermericial saying something about japanese foot pads or something...its bogus....

there is no difference between putting something on your feet or putting something anywhere else on your body. gravity has no effect...

everything leads back to the heart and anyone who says all the blood ends up in the feet has never taken even high school biology....the only way for something to enter through your skin into your bloodstream is through injection. if you touch something...

ive had many friends who are doctors at all levels and ive had some friends who believed this alternative medicine stuff worked...long story short...most of my friends who believed in the alternative medicine were hospitalized sooner or later, whether it be for malnutrition, poisening, atrophy, and heart attack. The other ones, well lets just say they're no longer with us. Point of the story, don't trust these cokamanie story's or informercials of alternative medicine. I've personally gone through numerous medical problems with myself and my family. And I've delt with these alternative medicine people. They're main line of proof for how it works is it worked for 1 person or a few people, For example, my friend was trying to explain to me how she was able to cure her cousin from the most deadliest brain cancer, glioblastoma multiforme. Her reasoning was saying that because she gave her pure lithium or something, she was able to get rid of the cancer. Obviously she refused to mention that HER COUSIN WAS HAVING EXTENSIVE TEST CHEMOTHERAPIES AND RADIATION! One chemotherapy her cousin was on was called avastin. at that time, a few years ago, it was a revolutionary drug, and still is today, made by a Dr. Folkman, professor at Harvard College. But she claimed to everyone that this revolutionary drug didn't cure her cousin, her ludicrous lithium did. Another time, my friend was told to take some other alternative medicine stuff. He also had brain cancer. His personal consultant advised him not to take the medicine because after a week of examining it, he found that if he did drink it, it was lethal. So he didn't. At the same time, his hospital took him off his chemotherapy for a month! He ended up dying and the girl that tried to push the alternative medicine blamed his death on him not taking the poisenous liquid. All I'm saying, these people that boast about alternative medicine and the actual alternative medicine have no idea what they're talking about. This is just their way of making themselves feel like they're helping someone when they personally have no inteligence to so. As to your original question, I would try to toughen up about the injections because for right now, its all that works at the optimum level. Sorry about the long answer, lets just say you sparked something in me.

  2. Yep, heard of it.  I guess it is possible to absorb things though the pores on your skin.  Not sure how well it works.

  3. Can't happen. It also turns out that the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands have an extra layer of epidermis called the s. lucidum. This makes these areas thicker and even more unlikely to absorb anything.

  4. I have no personal experience with supplements, but contrary to the other answers, The bottom of your feet are the most porous, more so than any other part of the body.

Quick test to confirm this, rub cut raw garlic on the bottom of your feet and within an hour, you'll be able to taste it.

And garlic is a natural antibiotic, by the way, so this test will be a benefit as well.

  5. it doesnt work. its just a bunch of c**p. just like you cant suck in juice off the table with your arm. i wish it worked though because i have a phobia of needles.!!

  6. yeah ive heard of it but it doesn't work my mom tryed it
