Ive heard that they are good backyard snowboards but arent very good on the slopes

I've never heard of Alibi as a manufacturer - only the Atomic model called Alibi.  I've tried out the Atomic Alibi and found nice but too heavy.  If you are after a cruiser it will probably work out great, but if you like to get air and spin, I would skip it.  I know a few people who have owned Alibi's: they found them to be very durable but the comment that they are too heavy keeps coming up.
