Has anyone ever heard of electro cheap and if so have you placed a successfully delivered order?

Because I ordered a camera which was sup post to arrive today but hasn't arrived and was wondering if it was a shipping delay or if I was scammed

Just to let everyone know the site is no longer available.

  I had tried to purchase something from them  but when I couldn't I sent them an email.  I received a response to try again. I then sent them a response indicating that I had closed all my CC and was reporting them to the authorities (which I did). When I didn't receive a response I tried the site and it is suddenly unavailable due to maintanence.

I ordered a videocamera last week, 9 days ago, and have yet to receive it, though it was supposed to be here last Friday.  This is Wednesday and I've started to actively look to see if I've been scammed as well.  

I can't answer your question yet, but if you find out anything, good or bad, I'd appreciate your passing it along.  Thanks, and good luck to both of us.

Hey guys, I just email them today to ask them about a camera. I stay in South Africa and the guy replied and said the shipping takes 2 day to South Africa from USA??? Cant be true and he said shipping is free.......

I thinks this is a scam. They don't provide any phone numbers or a address....

I noticed that electro cheap has a paypal payment option and if I'm not mistaken you have up to 45 days through paypal to reconcile the situation (get your money back) I have not used them yet but I was considering it. So thanks for the question.

I tried placing an order for a camera.  After entering the order, the site rejected my credit card with an "Order Failed" message.  It said the merchant failed to process the credit card.  The credit card is valid, so I do not understand the validity of the failure message.

Another user reported the same problem.

Before deciding to order, I asked two questions by email of the operator of the site, and received answers.

This doesn't "prove" anything, but raises suspicions about this re-seller.
