Has anyone ever heard of onions being a companion plant for marijuana?

By companion plant i mean like planting challots next to tomatoes, keeps grubs away from them.

No, tomatoes are actually the best in my opinion.

They are similar in looks and also have their own smell which can sometimes mask the smell of your growing ganja.

The main pest problem I've found is spider mite, I don't think onions would prevent against them. Ganja mostly grows tall unless you continually pinch out or train so they would naturally grow above the onions.

Perhaps needs a bit of research !
