I am getting this SPAM c**p sent to my inbox and I have blocked it but wondering how this happens as I have not joined a group such as this???

  1. Oh this is very simple. There are numerous ways for people to get your email, the most common are through malware on your own computer and through websites that track your information or sell subscriber emails. You'd be amazed how common this is.

    Your email then goes to be stacked up with at least thousands of others until it forms a formidable list that can be sold for a decent amount of cash. This information is the put through another process and voila! SPAM!

    This can or cannot be legal. The trick is that if you send 500,000 emails selling a single product or service, if only 50 give in, at $50 a piece... it makes $2,500. Lists are usually used more than once.

    EVENTUALLY, your email will drop out of the loop, if you reformat your system and get a proper antivirus (for every computer you use).

    I usually get people trying to sell me fake Rolex's and male enhancement pills...
