Has anyone ever heard that flying pugs is bad and can kill them???

  1. Yes I have. It has to do with their nose. Bracycephalic pets (dogs or cats with short noses) are more prone to heat stroke and resperatory problems caused by temperature and/or stress then longer nosed animals. They can't breath as well through the smooshed nose, and therefor can hyperventilate when extremely stressed. For a dog, they can't pant as well as other dogs to cool themselves off, and can suffer extreme heat strokes.

    Most airlines have information regarding the dangers of flying bracycephalic  pets, and most airlines don't recomend it unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary (like you are moving to hawaii). Try to drive them if at all possible
