Has anyone ever heard this before: Great teachers.....?

There was a quote I read once, and it was about how good teachers teach, and then something else, then great teachers inspire, or something like that. If anyone knows the actual quote, or where I could find it, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!

There are tons of teacher quotes out there on web.  I have heard the one you are talking about a long time ago.  Here is one I found that is close.....

well there's alot of quotes about great teachers

the one that seems to stick out to me is the chinese proverb

'teachers can open the door, but it is the student that must enter.'
