Has anyone ever known a violent man to change?

Yes I have left one as I dont believe he will change. I am just curious if any of them do?? And no Im not thinking of going back to him...Im just wondering if any of these counselling services actually help for anyone - they helped me to leave but they didnt help him to change.

Some people have to hit rock bottom to change.Anger management does work,only if you implement the tools given to you.I have seen many angry people (who didn't use counselling) change their ways when they got old only and i have seen many angry people stay angry until death.

Change - no, Modify-Yes!   He was orginally baptized as Catholic, but  a non-Catholic Christian pastor has renewed his faith in God while in jail. From his violent ways, he came out a very different person  - humble and God fearing!  

People who had experienced "life and death" situation due to his own making are most likely to modify his ways for the better. I used "modify"  because i believed that his old ways might crop up on his unguarded moment.
