Question:

Has anyone ever lost a contact in their eye?

My contact slipped out of place, and I actually think its still in my eye because I didn't see it fall out & I can still feel it. I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone before and if so should I seek medical attention. There isn't any pain or vision loss.

  1. keep messing with it it'll come out done it 100's of times in my 37 years

  2. Don't panic.

It happens to everyone some time or another.

Do have someone look in your eye while you look

down as far as you can.  Lift up the top eye lid to see

in the back.  They usually float up to the top of

your eye and towards the back of the eye.  It can't get lost in there for your your eye is encased in the eye socket.  Have patience and you will find it.

Or you can try closing your eye and looking down as far as you can (with lid closed of course).

Put your finger across the top of your eye lid right under the

eyebrow.  Hold finger tight while you gradually open your eye and move your eye upward.  Your finger should have trapped the lense and held it while your eye moved back under it.

This works if you take your time.

  3. Yes, it is easy to do.  It is probably up in the very top inner or outer corner of your eye.

Have someone look in your eye while you look down as far as you can.

  4. well u got already a good answears so yeah what they said

  5. You have been given great advice. The only other thing I can offer is to flush your eye with a multipurpose contact solution or eye drops. This extra fluid can help 'un-stick' the contact from your eye and it should go back into place. Good Luck!

  6. It's really freaky but it happens to all contact wearers sometimes. I agree that it is a good idea to use contact solution to rewet your eyes. I also try to cry to naturally lubricate your eyes.
