Has anyone ever lost marks because of tutor's/teacher's interpretation of the question?

Your answer is correct, but the teacher's answer is different just because of their different perspective. In reality, your answer cannot be marked wrong, but the teacher has because it is different to what they have.

  1. Don't make too big a thing of it.  Good training for life.  You have and idea; boss has a different idea; boss wins.

Yes i remember when i was in 6th grade i had a crazy teacher who always smiled!( she was really creepy and had dolls everywhere) (not kidding) And there was this question and it was like 'who was right in this situation the mom or dad' and i said dad because i thought he did the right thing and she marked it wrong because she though mom did the right thing. I tried to argue but she won in the end. lol And it was clearly an opinion question. That was like 4 years ago haha. (:
