Has anyone ever made fun of you b-cuz of the clothes you wear?

i have a pair of purple and black checkered pants from hot topic and i really like them!

one girl made a joke about them and now everyone calls me barney when i wear them what should i say

i have already said nice stuff about there nasty comments but now it is starting to get to be too much!!

yes someone made fun of me because i wore a sciencey sweater and said all my clothes were like that. it actually hurt my feelings

Yes, I've had that happen before....the "joys" of elementary, and Jr. High School.  By the time I'd gotten to High School I'd gotten enough inner fortitude to realize I REALLY didn't care what those other idiots thought.

Their brain spaz, mouth garbage ment nothing to me.  Once they realize that you TRUELY do  not give a d**n what they think, they will stop.

A VERY good come back is to raise your eyebrows, and say, in a quiet, firm, slightly menacing voice, "And your opinion matters why?"

You want to say it in a lower voice, so they have to pipe down to hear you, the firm tone means your really don't give a flying F' what they think, the slight menacing tone invites them to a mental and verbal sparing with you.  Most bullies are afraid of being humiliated in front of their peers.

I also HIGHLY sugest you got to WickedJester.com  and buy a T-shirt or two to wear with your jeans.  They have some that would pair very well with them, and say things like:

Don't judge me based on your ignorance.

You are all sheep.

People who lack the strength to be themselves are always trying to tear down those who do.

Ascend until your wings catch fire.

It is better to be hated for what you are than loved for what you are not.

Sometimes "The Majority" only means all the fools are on the same side.

I do not go where the path leads.  Instead I create my own path....and leave a trail.

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead.

People too weak to follow their own dreams will always find a way to discourage yours.

omg i am real sry! ummm i havent but my friend has so i just stood up for her and everything turned out fine but do you have any friends that like your clothes if so you should ask them to help you... sry i am really bad at giving advice

People are just jealous of you because you're not afraid to be yourself and wear whatever you like... Feel sorry for them; they're the ones who are conforming themselves to a standard of mediocrity. They're twisting their very souls to fit the idea of what someone decided our society should be like, and that's making this world a VERY ugly place.

i would say F*c# her.. i have some JUST like that and when people make comments in the negative stance i say  F*$% you and shove them up your @$$, but what you wea defins who you are..and as for her??..she is on the preppy side huh..just dont let it get to you and when they make vile comments either walk away or just flip em off :D

Yeah, i've gotten comments about my clothes, but I ignore them and say "if you don't like it, then you don't ever have to dress that way" or "what the h**l do you care what I"M wearing?" I dress kinda outdoor/cargo style with greens and greys and cargo wear

Paul said it perfectly, society has been brainwashed into acting a certain way, dressing a certain way and thinking a certain way. And god forbid anyone steps outside their little box and decides to show some individuality.

If people put HALF the thought they put into their precious clothes or their new cell phone into something like helping the environment or bettering the world in some way, we'd be an example like no other unto the whole world
