Has anyone ever messed with a ouija board and had absolutely nothing happen

Just out of curiosity. I'd be willing to bet one thousand dollars that if I sat down by myself with a ouija board, nothing would happen.

And yes, I know they are evil, etc. etc. Any crazy ouija stories are welcome though.

It always worked for me; but the info was always useless, so I don't bother. I always thought it worked for everyone.

Yes, many people I know have done this. Only gullible people believe a toy can be a prophet and even be dangerous. That's so absurd that my friends and I laugh about it.

Yup. I have played ouija boards where nothing happened and some where stuff did happen. It has to do with the board really.

What IS an ouija board in the first place???  I mean, I've heard of them and know they're bad and stupid, but I always picture a chalkboard that people try to walk through when I think about them...What ARE they???

Ouija boards are not evil.  I have played the ouija board, and nothing happened.  Nothing happened when my friends played the ouija board.   So I tend to agree with your take on them.

The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

Honestly, I wouldn't mess with one of those.

It says in the bible not to contact the dead, especially the evil, therefore there are spirits that shouldn't be tampered with.

I used to think they were completely fake and ridiculous, then a few of my friends came up with the idea to make one on our own.

So we did.

we wrote out the alphabet, and numbers and what, we did the whole stupid candle lighting and all....it worked.

There's nothing mystical about ouija boards at all. its just a game people play to freak each other out by moving the piece on the board. Additionally, no they aren't really 'evil', perhaps the thought of communicating with the dead is thought to be evil be some, but they just aren't.

  A long time ago I tryed it not knowing it was supposly bad of any sort. I know it as superstion.I wondered if nothing happened b/c I didn't believe. Who knows. It was at a friends house and they never said anything bad happened. I hear they have an angel board you might can look into that.  God be w/ all us!!!!!

I believe a few friends tried it when I was like, 13.

They were pretty dissapointed.

They did it at school during a lunch break behind some secluded bushy area. They brought a glass and homemade alphabet on square pieces of card. One of them just said it felt like another was purposely pushing the glass. No ghosts.
