Has anyone ever played Liar's dice?

I've seen it being sold lots of places since Pirates of the Carribean Dead Man's Chest came out, and I know they play a version of it in the movie. Is it any fun? Is it hard to learn?

no. i only saw the game in the dead man's chest movie. i want to learn how to play (sounds like i could make $ in betting) 1st i need to buy the game set.

maybe i'll dress up like davey jones or one of his servants... kidding!

Yes i own "Perudo" which is exactly the same game. You do not need anything more than a whole bunch of dice and the rules which you can get at Wiki. And in answer to your question yes it is a pretty fun game but really only good for a short while.  Its what gamers would call a "filler" game which is something you play in between a serious game to break the session up a little.  Good for a laff
