haha my roommates from college and i would play sometimes...most the time nothing happened, we'd get random gibberish, or we would determine one of us was moving it...but one time one of my roommates (who didn't have her hands on the board) asked where her next boyfriend would live and it gave the name of a dorm on campus and a random number...turns out it was where a guy in one of her classes lived that she had been flirting with for some time at that point!

I've played it a couple times, with friends just asking random questions... Once we got viable answers, but the other times we got nothing.

for something to happen the players must believe it works. But you actually moving the thing even though you might think you are not. Penn and Teller have an episode which talks about the ouija board.

We were playing on Halloween with incense all around us.  We actually talked to the devil.  His (yes the devil is MALE) spirit entered my sister's body and she killed three of the kids there.  Her head spun around 13 times.  Then she threw up blood all over the game.  My mom made us quit playing after that.
