Has anyone ever pre-ordered a cd from amazon? i am thinking of ordering the NKOTB cd that comes out on sept 2n

Do you get the day it comes out, or do you recieve it later? I don't want it after...Will it come before?

It varies.

I've preordered from Amazon before and sometimes they send it early sometimes it's not sent until release date.

I've actually been able to get items before the release date before.

It really depends on if Amazon gets the CD before the release date.

Yes, I did it with Janet Jackson's new album and let me tell you IT'S BETTER TO GET IT FROM THE STORE! With the shipping and handling you pay to get it delivered in 1 to 2 business days it cost me like 20 bucks and the cd was only 9.99. Amazon is the place to go when you are buying older cd's because they are so cheap, but when you want new items right when they come out it's better to go to the store. Places like Best Buy let you preorder cd's too and you can pick it up at the store on the day it's released..
